EARLY CANCER DETECTION

Light‑Hope develops PCR‑based IVD products that use non‑coding RNA biomarkers in liquid biopsy to detect cancer at its earliest stages—long before imaging can.

Our cancer pipeline includes breast cancer (in analytical/clinical validation) and multiple forthcoming assays across liver, ovarian, lung, pancreatic, and prostate cancers, with a long‑term goal of multi‑cancer early detection (MCED).

INFECTIOUS DISEASE DIAGNOSTICS

Our infectious disease pipeline focuses on developing ambient‑stable PCR reagents optimized for tropical climates—achieving ≥18‑month stability at 40 °C and enabling cold‑chain‑free deployment.

These reagents support scalable, low‑cost panels for high‑priority diseases including TB, HIV, and HPV, validated through India‑based cGMP partners and LMIC diagnostic networks.

Early Breast Cancer Detection

Mammography frequently fails to detect early‑stage breast cancer—especially in younger women with dense breast tissue, where incidence has been rising at an alarming rate. These limitations create a diagnostic blind spot at the exact moment when early intervention is most effective.

Light‑Hope’s first PCR‑based IVD product is designed for early detection of all major breast cancer subtypes using non‑coding RNA biomarkers circulating in blood. This assay identifies early tumor biology long before imaging can, offering a more sensitive and accessible approach to early diagnosis.
